Why rent a villa direct from a Owner and not a hotel?
Disney and other surrounding hotels can be very expensive. For less than the price of one hotel room you can have the use of our luxury villa with private pool. Our villa is superbly equipped to make your holiday unforgettable. For cheaper costs than a hotel, you have your own bedrooms, swimming pool, kitchen, and lounge. You will also get many extras such as DVD player and Playstation, all free of charge.

Why rent a villa direct from an Owner and not through a travel agent?
For 3 reasons:

1. It will cost you more as travel agent add their commissions.
2. You know what home you are staying in i.e. no allocation on arrival, if you rent via the owner. The owner knows the villa and area well so will be able to give the necessary guidance and assistance, if required.
3. You get a personal service. Many owners are flexible and are able to help with reasonable requests, for example, arrival dates and times.

What is the maximum number of people allowed in the villa?
The villa is licensed to sleep 13 and an infant. It comfortably accommodates 13 people in the 5 bedrooms. A crib is provided for an infant.

Are smoking or pets allowed?
Smoking is strictly forbidden within the villa and this includes the pool area. The villa is fitted with smoke detectors. No pets are allowed.

How far away are the main attractions?
One of the factors which makes our villa desirable, is its distance from the Parks and other attractions. The villa is only 12 minutes from Walt Disney World, 20 minutes from Sea World and 25 minutes from Universal Studios. So even if you've had a tiring day at the Parks or Shops the ride home is short and you can be relaxing at home in a short time!

What do we need to bring with us?
Our villa is furnished and equipped to a very high standard to make it a home from home. All bedding, pillows and towels are provided. We have a washing machine and tumble dryer for your use so there will be no need to take dirty washing home. We also have an iron and ironing board at your disposal. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils and crockery required for cooking and there is a supermarket nearby for your food shopping. Do you have any facilities for small children?
A cot, highchair, buggy/stroller are available on request. A pool safety barrier/fence has been used around the pool to prevent young children from venturing out to the pool unsupervised.

How do we locate the property?
Silver Creek is very easy to find as it is located one mile north of the US27 highway junction with highway 192. We will send you directions no less than 2 weeks before your arrival in Orlando.

Is a maid service included?
The villa is rented on a self catering basis. The villa is cleaned before your arrival and again on your departure. For your convenience and hygiene the villa is equipped with a vacuum cleaner, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, mop, brushes etc. If you would like a clean during your stay this can be arranged at an additional cost.

What entertainment is provided in the villa?
We have provided a playstation and DVD's for children of all ages. There are Cable TVs in each room.

Is the pool heated?
No, unless you request it. The pool and spa can be heated by prior arrangement and for additional cost as indicated on the booking form. We would recommend pool heat from October through to May as the water can feel quite cold. The maximum temperature allowed under Florida law for heated pools is 86°. If you did not request pool heat at the time of booking but decide on arrival that you want it please contact the management company as soon as possible. You will be charged a daily rate.

Are there stores and restaurants near by?
There is a 24-hour supermarket at the entrance of the community where the villa is located. At the same venue, there is a pharmacy, bank, hairdresser, post office and pizza takeaway. The US 192 is 5 minutes away with all its numerous restaurants such as Outback Steakhouse, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Red Lobster, TGI Friday's, Dennys, Ponderosa and Golden Corral. There are a selection of Chinese and Italian too. The Premium Outlet Mall is only 20 minutes away and Florida Mall is 25 minutes. Both these malls house many designer label stores such as Gap, Nike, Reebok, Nine West, Timberland, and Adidas at bargain prices.

What if we have a problem with the villa while we are there?
We have employed a management company who are local and operate a 24/7 service to sort out any problems that may arise. The management company details including a 24-hour emergency number will be sent along with the villa details and directions in an Information pack before you leave for Florida. We will work together with our Management Company to ensure that in the unlikely event of an emergency, your vacation is hardly disrupted.

Do I need a rental car?
To get the most out of Orlando a car is recommended. It is very easy to drive in Florida and the roads are well sign posted however a satellite system in the car will save you a lot of time. Make sure that you hire a car that is big enough for you and your entire luggage. If you cannot or do not want to drive, for whatever reason, please let us know at the time of booking and we will get you information on public transportation.

Do I need travel insurance?
Yes! As with all holidays / vacations we strongly advise you get full travel / medical / cancellation insurance.

Does the villa have its own phone?
The villa does have a phone. You can also access the voice mail facility to retrieve any messages left for you by friends and relatives. You will be sent details of all this and the villa's phone number before you travel.
